Calibration and Servicing

Since 2011, Be Safe Solutions has assisted in selling breathalyzers to the broader public and private sectors. Our customers trust us to offer the best advice, assistance with policies and procedures and supply of internationally accredited reliable equipment necessary for their specified needs.

How often must your breathalyzer be calibrated?

All breathalyzers, personal or professional, must be calibrated either bi-annually or annually depending on make and model

Why calibration is important?

Over time a breathalyzers fuel cell sensor becomes saturated giving inaccurate and inconsistent readings.  Continued calibration and servicing safeguards against wear and tear of the sensor keeping all components in proper working order for longer periods

Our Simulators

Our Simulator is a State-of-the-Art, electronically temperature controlled, water-alcohol instrument for the purpose of providing a precise calibration standard for testing or calibration of alcohol breathalyzers.

Why use a simulator?

Our wet simulators offer the closest simulation of a live subject by closely simulating the human breath in flow rate, temperature and moisture. This assures that the entire breath path of the unit is tested. This cannot be performed using dry gas canisters with set low flow rates and can only be accomplished using a wet simulator.
