The legal limit for public road users in South Africa is 0.05 % B.A.C

AARTO is a new points system in terms of which the validity of a person’s driving licence will be directly influenced by the traffic offences committed by that person. The number of points accumulated(by being penalised) will determine whether a person’s licence may be renewed or suspended.
